What a great idea. Its only £39 a share so I have taken a punt. I've signed up and with a few like minded people we could do it. Being able to buy and manage our own team and pick the team every week and watch our dreams come true sounds great to me.

I'm looking for info on the 3rd (Reserve) Battalion of the Manchester Regiment that I believe had a barracks in Holton-le-Clay in 1917. My grandfather was in the 2nd Battalion and fought in the Battle of the Somme that started on 1st July 1916. Two weeks later he was 'posted to the Depot' and 2 months later 'posted to the 3rd (Reserve) Battalion. I've assumed that he was injured and sent back to England to recover. Anyone know why CLEETHORPE ROAD is not called CLEETHORPES ROAD? I was thinking maybe its cos when it was named it was only leading to one Clee village (presuming thorpe was meaning village) and the plural came along later? Please enlighten me for my daughter's homework - its been half my life since I was in school! T.
