The latest update on Skateboarding Spots in Leyland
"Leyland market is mainly a hangout spot for chavs and wannabe gangsters now, really not worth the hassle going there in the evenings although its ok for a sunday daytime session. Steep flat banks at the westfield centre on west paddock (next to the council offices) have now got a long rail blocking the main bank. Faber on school lane has become a bit of bust, mainly due to some skaters thinking its ok to vandalise skatespots. Back lane school no longer has the 9 set, but they have improved the banks, which now go right up to the wall. Theres a small skatepark near the library at clayton green (right nest to the asda) Mainly transition, poor layout and that horrible plasticy surface that slips at the first thought of it being damp, gets quite busy at weekends, certainly not worth a trip if your not local. Plenty of stairsets gaps ect dotted around the various industrail estates in the area, however in many instances security dont take no shit."

Knowhere has skateboard news and info for over 2000 places in the UK

What is Knowhere?

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself.

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!

If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide.

This document is part of a collection of thousands containing information about other places in Britain; it is not supplied by an organisation based in this particular place. So: sorry, but we can't put you in touch with individual people in this town! But you can use The Knowhere Board for each place if you'd like to make contact with other users of this service.

Have Your Say...

The Knowhere Guide depends entirely on real users for information. Please feel free to join in.
  • You can tell us more about the places in the Knowhere by filling in the update form for each place. This is also the method to use if you want to correct some of the information already here. (But please remember you're not mailing the person who actually wrote whatever-it-is.)
  • You can use the 'add an event' form for each place to tell us about events.
  • Or, if you'd just like to leave a message for other users of this site, take a look at The Knowhere Boards (handy if you're just trying to get in touch with someone).
